1930’s, CPR/Napinka Sub. Mile 21.1. An earlier bridge and a Way Freight heading E. on the older Clearwater trestle. On this trestle, note that each bent has only 4 supports which indicates that more reinforcements were coming to add a 5th vertical support beam to each bent by the 1950’s for heavier freight. The engine appears to be a D –10 upon closer observation. Visible in tow, are 3 livestock cars. Photo Credit – from the collection of Jack Corbett – former Clearwater Station Agent.
