1985/09, CPR/Napinka Sub. Mile 35, E. end of Cartwright yard at sunset with switch stand and MB Pool elevator on the right. “Sunset on the Rails” , – a premonition of things to come. The Prairie Branch Line Rehabilitation Program which took place in the 1970’s and into the early – 1980’s, upgraded this rail line. Sadly, this track was salvaged 27 years later (in 2008), leaving all communities between Manitou and Killarney without rail service.
